I've been catching up on social media today - it's like trying to maintain the Forth Rail Bridge - no sooner do I think I've got to the end of it, than I have to start all over again at the beginning. I'm not complaining - it keeps me on my toes, but I do sometimes wonder if I really need to have a "presence" in so many places. It's been a "slow burn" in many cases, but all in all I think the multi-pronged approach has worked not too badly.
I have my website, which links to everywhere else that I have my work (including quite an extensive range of photography) or tell folk about work, on the internet - Redbubble, Photo4me, Facebook and Twitter. I even have some work up on Fine Art America. I'm also now on Instagram - jenniferjwatson19 if you're into that sort of thing. I love the fact that it's all about the pictures. I have gone off Twitter recently, as so often people tweet links to websites, which seems to cancel out the whole point, which is to get your message across in 140 characters. I have unfollowed lots of acocunts recently and will be having another cull shortly. Time for a spring clean. If only I could be as enthusiastic about an actual spring clean as I am about this virtual one!
